WORLD’S EPIDEMIC DISEASES Human history is undoubtedly stained with the blood of men, women and children killed in war and natural calamities, but disease is the world’s biggest killer. It does not discriminate race, gender or color, making it more deadly. It is noted that in at least every century, records of notorious disease outbreaks have claimed many lives around the continent. Currently, Corona Virus is the ‘trending’ disease which has so far claimed approximately 3800 lives. Before I write more about it, I’d like to take you through some previous epidemic diseases.
